Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Kabupaten Bekasi merupakan salah satu kota industri terbesar di asia tenggara, namun sangat ironi angka pengangguran di Kabupaten Bekasi 300 ribu jiwa lebih dari jumlah penduduk sebanyak 3,6 juta jiwa.
Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Bekasi, warga Kabupaten Bekasi yang belum mendapatkan pekerjaan sangat luar biasa banyaknya mencapai 9,69% dari jumlah penduduk 3,6 juta jiwa. Sekitar 300 ribu warga Kabupaten Bekasi belum mendapatkan pekerjaan.
“Kalau berdasarkan data yang ada angka pengangguran di bekasi mencapai 9,69% dari pendukuk yang ada” kata Budi Cahyono S.Si, MM kepala BPS Kabupaten Bekasi, Jumat (28/6/2019).
Kemudian kata Budi, Kabupaten bekasi merupakan peringkat ke empat tertinggi pengangguran di provinsi Jawa Barat setelah Kabuapten Cirebon, Kabaten Cianjur, Kabupaten Bogor lalu Kabupaten Bekasi. Salah satu penyebabya adalah skil yang masih kalah dengan daerah lain sehingga menyebabkan banyaknya pengangguran.
“Kebanyakan yang bekerja di perusahaan warga dari luar Kabupaten Bekasi. Karena skilnya masih kurang dan kalah bersaing dengan warga daerah lain,”terangnya.
Menurut Budi, Warga Bekasi perlu peningkatan pendidikan dan skil agar mampu bersaing dengan masyarakat luar darah Bekasi yang kini banyak bekerja di perusahaan.
“perlu peningkatan pendidikan, karena Bekasi ini kebanyakan lulusan SMA sederajat,”pungkasnya.(dmn/red)
