Karawang, kabarsebelas.com – Karawang membutuhkan terobosan baru dalam membangun infrastruktur pasar. Pasalnya, cara yang selama ini diterapkan dengan melakukan kerjasama dengan pihak ketiga atau Build Operate Transfer (BOT) dinilai gagal karena terjadinya berbagai masalah yang tak kunjung selesai hingga kini. Sedangkan, infrastruktur pasar tentunya menjadi point penting bagi pedagang dalam menjalankan kenyamanan bertransaksi (kegiatan perdagangan).
Hal ini membuat reaksi para pedagang di Kota Pangkal Perjuangan ini. Bahkan tersiar kabar adanya pedagang salah satu pasar di Karawang yang sudah menemukan terobosan dalam membangun infrastruktur pasar tanpa melalui BOT atau pun APBD. Hanya saja, belum ada respon serius dari pemerintah daerah sebagai pemangku kebijakan dan pemilik lahan pasar. Terobosan tersebut adalah dengan membangun koperasi pedagang.
Diharapkan pemerintah daerah dapat memberikan persetujuan agar dilakukan pembangunan pasar oleh koperasi pedagang yang secara sah telah berbadan hukum. Anggaran yang digunakan tidak melalui APBD, melainkan melalui pinjaman Bank yang menjadi tanggung jawab koperasi pedagang dalam pembayarannya.
Sekertaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten Karawang, Acep Jamhuri saat dimintai tanggapannya terkait kabar ini mengatakan, sampai hari ini belum ada pembahasan baru untuk pembangunan pasar-pasar yang ada di Karawang. Kendati ia pun mengamini terkait belum beresnya berbagai permasalahan pasar.
“Saat ini belum ada pembahasan ke sana,” kata dia saat ditemui di Plaza Pemkab Karawang, Rabu (10/07/2019) siang.
Dikatakan, konsep pembangunan pasar secara mandiri oleh pedagang melalui koperasi pedagang, memungkinkan untuk direalisasikan dan menjadi pembahasan dalam program daerah. Apalagi, jika setelah melalui penelitian dan pengkajian konsep tersebut memang dapat menguntungkan bagi pemerintah juga masyarakat.
“Seandainya ini memang mengungkan untuk masyarakat banyak kenapa tidak? Itu memungkinkan untuk dibahas dalam program daerah,” pungkasnya. (moy)
