Salah satu pedagang di pasar tradisonal Cikampek ,Wahyu (30) mengatakan, harga itu sudah bertahan selama sepuluh hari terkahir , setelah sebelumnya mencapai Rp70.000/kg kini tembus diangka penjualan Rp. 80 ribu per kilogram.
“Pasokan ke pedagang terus berkurang, harga perkilogram cabai rawit merah dan hijau tembus Rp. 80 ribu perkilogram, ” kata Wahyu, Senin (15/7)
Ia menuturkan kenaikan harga cabai rawit diduga akibat kemarau panjang, banyak petani cabai gagal panen akibat tanaman mati, yang berdampak pada stok pengiriman ke tingkat agen dan pedagang berkurang drastis.
“Informasinya dampak kemarau panjang, petani banyak gagal panen akibat busuk, ” tuturnya.
Harga cabai rawit kata Wahyu, saat ini menembus Rp 80 ribu/kg, dibanding harga sebelumnya di kisaranRp30.000-35.000/kg. Ia mengaku, dalam seharu bisa menjual cabai sebanyak 30-40 kg sebelun harga melejit, namun sekarang hanya 1 kilogram juga dijuak eceran karena konsumen mengurangi pembelian.
“Dampaknya penjualan menurun drastis, satu hari hanya 1 kiligram, ” imbuhnya.
Sementara Nina, salah satu penjual makanan di daerah itu berharap harga tersebut bisa turun, sehingga tidak berdampak pada omset setiap harinya.
“Menu penjualan saya makanan yang selalu membutuhkan cabai, sehingga jika cabai mahal tentunya berdampak pada penjualan makanan kami,” katanya
