Karawang ,Kabarsebelas.com – Gedung Sekolah Dasar Neger (SDN) Cucinde 1 di Desa Cicinde Selatan, Kecamatan Banyusari, Karawang, ludes terbakar, sekitar pukul 12.30 WIB , asal api diduga akibat konsleting listrik. Akibat kebakaran yang terjadi sejak pukul 12.30 WIB tersebut, dua ruang kelas,dan ruang guru hangus terbakar.
Kepala Sekolah SDN Cicinde 1, Sudirja mengatakan, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini, karena perististiwa ini terjad, usai proses belajar mengajar siswa, sudah tidak ada aktivitas belajar dalam ruangan. Namun dua ruang kelas dan satu ruang guru hangus terbakar.
“Peristiwa terjadi setelah proses belajar mengajar sekitar pukul 12.30 WIB, dari laporan warga sekitar lokasi sekolah, ” kata Sudirja, Rabu (17/7) kepada media di TKP.
Dia mengatakan api baru dapat dipadamkan setelah lima unit pemadam kebakaran datang ke lokasi kebakaran dalam waktu satu jam berhasil menjinakan api yang berkobar dalam tiga ruang kelas yang terbakar. Diduga asal api yang menghanguskan gedung sekolah tersebut berasal dari konsleting arus listring namun belum bisa memastikan diruangan mana asal titik api.
