Pembuatan tempat sampah tersebut bertujuan agar masyarakat setempat tidak membuang sampah secara sembarangan seperti disungai ataupun lahan kosong demi kesehatan dan kebersihan lingkungan yang akibat kebakaran saat musim kemarau serta banjir di musim hujan.
Kapolsek Ciampel, AKP Adis Iskandar mengatakan, kegiatan Polri Dan TNI membantu warga tersebut merupakan bentuk kepedulian kepada masyarakat, pelaksanaan gotong royong bersama warga adalah sebagai bukti kecintaan kami untuk selalu berada di tengah-tengah rakyat, karena kami TNI-Polri kuat selalu bersama rakyat.
“Rasa gotong royong TNI-Polri ditengah masyarakat merupakan sinergitas kedua institusi ditengah masyarakat, ” kata Adis, kepada media.
Adis menambahkan, yang terpenting adalah kegiatan ini sebagai bentuk sinergitas TNI dengan Polri dalam rangka mewujudkan situasi Kamtibmas yang aman dan kondusif . (nd)
