Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Pemkab (Pemerintah Kabupaten) Bekasi melalui Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Bekasi menghelat Festival Busana Pengantin Kabupaten Bekasi 2019. Acara ini dibuka oleh, Asisten Pemerintahan dan Kesra (Asda I), Juhandi, Rabu (24/07/2019) kemarin. Acara berlangsung selama tiga hari dimulai sejak 24 Juli hingga 26 Juli 2019, di gedung Graha Pariwisata Kabupaten Bekasi, Cikarang Timur, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
Kegiatan tersebut, dilaksanakan dalam rangka menyambut Hari Jadi Kabupaten Bekasi ke-69 tahun. Serta, Hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia ke-74 tahun.
Juhandi berharap, dalam kegiatan seperti masyarakat dapat lebih mengembangkan dan mempertahankan segala unsur yang berkaitan dengan ciri khas Kabupaten Bekasi.
“Kegiatan Festival Busana Pengantin Khas Kabupaten Bekasi ini merupakan sarana melestarikan dan mempromosikan potensi daerah,” jelasnya.
Selain itu, dalam acara tersebut juga digelar pameran peragaan busana pengantin khas Kabupaten Bekasi yang diperagakan oleh model. Selain peragaan busana, dalam Festival tesebut juga disediakan stand pameran busana, dan makanan.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Encep Supriatin Jaya mengatakan, akan ada berbagai perlombaan busana pengantin khas Kabupaten Bekasi. Perlombaan tersebut dilaksanakan, Kamis (25/07/2019).
Dengan menghadirkan juri yang kompeten di bidangnya. Serta, terdapat penampilan band yang berasal dari mahasiswa Pelita Bangsa.
“Perlombaan busana pengantin khas Bekasi besok akan kita selenggarakan. Dengan menghadirkan juri-juri yang berkompeten,” pungkasnya. (red)
