Lampung Utara, Kabarsebelas.com – Pemerintahan Kabupaten (Pemkab) Lampung Utara (Lampura), melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Raih dua medali emas dalam lomba O2SN (Olimpiade Olahraga Siswa Nasional) SD tingkat Provinsi.
Perolehan dua medali emas itu, di toreh oleh Haaray Shoke Lamindo murid SD Negeri 5 Kelapa Tujuh Kotabumi Kabupaten Lampura dalam Cabor (Cabang Olahraga) Karate yang digelar oleh Provinsi Lampung beberapa hari yang lalu di Bandar Lampung.
Kepala Disdikbud Lampura – Toto Sumedi, melalui Kabid Dikdas – Suma Wibawa, mengaku bangga atas perolehan medali emas tersebut, dan berjanji akan memberikan penghargaan berupa dana pembinaan atas prestasi yang telah diraih.
“Alhamdulilah, dalam Cabor Karate tingkat provinsi, murid kita telah mengharumkan Kabupaten Lampung Utara dengan membawa pulang dua medali emas. Atas prestasinya, kita akan memberikan reword sebagai bentuk apresiasi Dinas Pendidikan,” katanya. Sabtu (27/7/2019).
Suma berharap, di tingkat nasional nanti, Shoke dapat terus menorehkan prestasi, agar bisa mengharumkan nama Provinsi Lampung khususnya Kabupaten Lampung Utara.
Sementara itu, Kepala SD Negeri 5 Kelapa Tujuh Kotabumi, Nyoman Sumerthi, bersyukur atas perolehan dua medali yang diraih anak didiknya, menurut Nyoman keberhasilan itu berkat disiplin, latihan dan arahan dari guru pembimbing serta Dinas pendidikan yang telah memberikan peluang menyalurkan bakat anak didiknya.
“Kami merasa bangga dan senang sekali, Shoke Lamindo maraih dua medali emas sekaligus. Mudah-mudahan, prestasinya dapat terwujud di tingkat nasional,” ujarnya. (Hapidz)
