Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Akhirnya perwakilan dari Kecamatan Banyusari menjadi anggota legislatif setelah sekian lama tidak pernah ada satupun anggota legislatif yang berasal dari Kecamatan Banyusari.
Muhamad Dimyati warga desa Pamekaran Kecamatan Banyusari terpilih di Pemilu Legislatif 2019 dari daerah pemilihan 5 meliputi Kecamatan Cikampek, Kotabaru, Tirtamulya, Jatisati dan Kecamatan Banyusari, dari partai Gerindra.
Pasalnya, setiap Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) legislatif, Kecamatan Banyusari lebih sering menjadi sasaran lumbung suara para calon legislatif dari luar daerah untuk mendulang suara, baik para caleg DPRD Kabupaten Karawang hingga DPR RI .
Warga Kecamatan Banyusari, bisa diistilahkan hanya menjadi pelengkap penderita. Tidak pernah ada wakil rakyat yang duduk mewakili Kecamatan Banyusari selama Pemilu Pileg berlangsung, semenjak era reformasi.
Dengan memiliki wakil rakyat maka aspirasi masyarakat Banyusari lebih cepat tersampaikan ke pemerintah daerah. Apalagi jumlah penduduknya mencapai 921,54 jiwa, dengan jumlah 12 desa.
Muhamad Dimyati, yang terpilih menjadi anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPRD) periode 2019-2024, dirinya mengatakan akan sering turun menerima aspirasi masyarakat dibawah.
Bagi Dimyati, itu bukanlah hal yang luar biasa karena dirinya terbiasa bersosialisasi. Apalagi, keluarga besarnya pun tinggal di Desa Pamekaran, Kecamatan Banyusari, yang sebelumnya menjadi desa tertinggal.
“Kalau sudah mulai kerja sebagai anggota dewan, saya akan turun ke Dapil, sebulan sekali. Buat saya sih nggak berat ya, karena sudah terbiasa ,” ungkap Dimyati, usai pelantikan di Gedung Paripurna.
Politisi Partai Gerindra ini mengatakan, dirinya siap menjalankan amanah rakyat, khususnya masyarakat Dapil 5 yang sudah memilihnya, tak ingin masyarakat menilai dirinya yang masuk gedung rakyat, tapi tak bisa bekerja.
“Stigma masyarakat itu sah-sah saja, yang punya pikiran negatif soal kinerja wakil rakyat, apalagi sebagai wakil rakyat yang baru duduk. Saya hanya berusaha untuk belajar, pastinya kita harus optimis ya. Amanah masyarakat itu harus dijalankan sebaiknya,” jelas pria asal Pamekaran.
Dia siap ditempatkan dikomisi apa saja sesuai keputusan fraksi partai nantinya, berharap kinerjanya dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai wakil mampu mengemban tugas demi kepentingan rakyat.
“Untuk posisi penempatan komisi, ikut keputusan fraksi partai, ” tutupnya.(nandang)
