Lampung Utara, Kabarsebelas.com – Bupati Lampung Utara (Lampura), H. Agung Ilmu Mangkunegara, membuka acara Pertemuan Capacity Building, 1.000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) Lampura 2019, di Aula Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Setempat, Lampung Utara, Selasa (20/08/2019).
Dalam pembukaan acara tersebut, juga dilakukan penandatanganan Komitmen Pemerintah Daerah Dalam Percepatan Penurunan Stunting dalam 1.000 HPK, yang dimulai oleh Bupati Lampura dan diikuti oleh pejabat lainnya.
Bupati Lampura dalam sambutannya menerangkan, Stunting merupakan manifestasi dari kegagalan pertumbuhan (growth faltering) yang dimulai sejak dalam kandungan hingga anak berusia dua tahun.
“Pencegahan dan penanggulangan Stunting harus dimulai secara tepat sebelum kelahiran dan berlanjut sampai anak berusia dua tahun,” tuturnya.
Dalam hal itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Lampura, melalui Dinas terkait telah berkoordinasi dan bersinergi dalam upaya menangani persoalan.
“Seperti menyelenggarakan Bimbingan Teknis bagi orang tua tentang pencegahan, perawatan dan pengasuhan bagi 1.000 HPK, kemudian Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM), serta gerakan masyarakat hidup sehat (Germas),” ujarnya.
Pantauan media ini, turut hadir, Pj. Sekda, H. Sofyan, Asisten II, Toto Sumedi, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung diwakili oleh Kabid Kesehatan Masyarakat, para Kepala OPD, para Camat, Direktur RS. Ryacudu Kotabumi, para Kepala Puskesmas, para Medis, serta para undangan. (Hapidz)
