Sumedang, Kabarsebelas.com – Kebakaran menghanguskan satu unit rumah yang tidak berpenghuni (rumah kosong, red) di Jalan Umar Martadinata, Dusun Cipeundeuy RT 02/05, Desa Sukaratu, Kecamatan Darmaraja, Kabupaten Sumedang, Jawa Barat, Sabtu (14/09/2019).
Menurut keterangan warga setempat, kejadian tepatnya pada pukul 11.00 WIB. “Api hampir menyambar rumah penduduk lainnya yang berdekatan, namun kami masyarakat sekitar sambil menunggu bantuan tim pemadam kebarakan dan telah berhasil mengantisipasi sehingga dapat di selamatkan,” beber Dedi Umis.
Babhinkamtibmas Desa Sukaratu, Bripka Wahya menuturkan, penyebab kebakaran belum dapat dipastikan, sementara api diduga berasal dari puntung rokok yang dibuang sembarangan, karena rumah itu tidak ada intalasi listrik yang terpasang,” tutupnya singkat.
Selain itu dari informasi yang didapat di lapangan, kebakaran ini tidak menimbulkan korban, karena rumah sudah tidak berpenghuni. Namun, sempat ada orang yang mentalnya terganggu masuk ke rumah itu saat peristiwa terjadi. (Deni)
