Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Perwakilan pendeta dan jema’at gereja Cikampek mendatangi Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati Karawang (RDWB) untuk mengadu kepada Wakil Bupati Karawang, H. Ahmad Zamakhsyari (Kang Jimmy), mengenai persoalan sulitnya membuat Tempat Pemakaman Umum (TPU) bagi para jema’at mereka.
Pendeta Very Siregar mengatakan, saat ini sudah ada sekitar 40 majelis dan 40 ribu jiwa jema’atnya yang tersebar sampai Kecamatan Klari, Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat. Dijelaskannya, dari Januari hingga September 2019, sudah ada 30 jema’atnya yang meninggal dunia, tapi terkadang kebingungan harus dimakamkan dimana. Karena TPU di Desa Pucung sudah tidak mampu lagi menampung.
Oleh sebab itu, kata Pendeta Very, pihaknya bersama para jema’at sudah melakukan ‘patungan’ membeli 1,6 hektar tanah untuk diajukan menjadi TPU. Namun persoalannya, sampai saat ini untuk mengurus izin semuanya terkesan cukup sulit. Padahal, ia bersama perwakilan jema’atnya sudah pernah menemui Bupati Karawang untuk meminta bantuan.
“Izin lingkungan (izin masyarakat sekitar) sampai camat kami sudah dapat, bukti-bukti tertulis tanda tangannya juga ada. Ini kami mau bikin TPU, bukan gereja. Karena kalau izin gereja dulu sudah diresmikan langsung pada zamannya Pak Dadang S Muchtar (mantan Bupati Karawang). Tapi sampai saat ini kami masih kesulitan. Jadi, mohon dibantu sama Pak Jimmy,” kata Pendeta Very Siregar kepada Wabup Jimmy, di rumah dinas wakil bupati, Kamis (19/09/2019).
Jema’at Gereja Cikampek, Manalu menambahkan, kesulitan mengenai persoalan pemakaman para jema’at ini terutama untuk para jema’at yang latar belakang ekonominya masuk kategori warga kurang mampu. Sampai pada akhirnya, saat ini para jema’at sudah kembali patungan membeli sebidang tanah di Wancimekar Kotabaru untuk dibuatkan TPU.
“Tanah seluas 7.800 meter sudah kami beli di sana. Soal izin, jangankan warga sampai camat, anggota dewan di sana juga pada dukung semua. Tapi kami bingung ini urus izinnya harus bagaimana. Kami minta bantuannya Pak Jimmy,” kata Manalu.
Menjawab keluhan pendeta dan jema’at Gereja Cikampek ini, Kang Jimmy sempat merasa kebingungan dan heran. Karena saat izin lingkungan sudah selesai, seharusnya proses pembuatan TPU sudah bisa dilaksanakan. Wabup Jimmy juga langsung menelpon Camat Kota Baru untuk meminta informasi perkembangan isu di lapangan.
Di hadapan pendeta dan jema’at, Kang Jimmy berjanji akan membantu atas keluhan dari pendeta dan jema’at ini. “Bahkan saya katakan, keterlaluan kalau pemda tidak menyediakan lahan untuk pemakaman khusus teman-teman nasrani. Kalau di daerah lain seperti DKI dan Bekasi sudah ada tempat pemakaman khusus,” pungkas Kang Jimmy. (amoy)

I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
