Subang, Kabarsebelas.com – Terkait Rancangan Undang Undang (RUU) Pemasyarakat yang masih pro dan kontra akan di sahkan DPR RI, Lembaga Pemasyarakat (Lapas) se Cipurwabesuka menggelar Focus group Discusion dengan Universitas Subang yaitu Stiesa dan Poltekkessos, yang di gelar Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Subang.
Turut hadir Kalapas kelas IIA Karawang, Kelapa urusan umum Lapas kelas IIA Karawang, Bendahara pengeluaran kelas IIA Karawang, Staf KPLP kelas II A Karawang, dan audien yang terdiri dari para pegawai Lapas Subang, Purwakarta, Cikarang, serta mahasiswa Universitas di Subang yaitu STIESA dan POLTEKKESSOS.
Sementara sebagai narasumber Focus Group Disscssion Sosialisasi Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) yaitu Kepala Lapas Kelas IIA Subang, Kepala Lapas Kelas IIA Karawang, Kepala Lapas Kelas IIA Cikarang, Dekan Universitas Subang dan Kepala Prodi STIESA
Dalam agenda FGD, Kalapas Kelas II A Karawang, menyampaikan, dengan FGD dan sosialisasi ini dapat diluruskan adanya pro dan kontra serta kesalahpahaman yang terjadi di masyarakat dengan adanya revisi Undang-Undang Pemasyarakatan No.12 Tahun 1995.
“Banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami isi dari RUU Pemasyarakatan ini, mereka mungkin hanya mendengar berita yang belum tentu benar tanpa membaca isi dari RUU tersebut secara utuh,” ungkap Kalapas. Kelas II A Karawang Iskandar Irianto Basuki, Rabu (25/9).
Sementara, Iskandar pada kesempatan tersebut juga menjelaskan tentang RUU Pemasyarakatan pasal demi pasalnya, serta poin-poin pentingnya dan juga para narasumber beserta audiens menjelaskan beberapa hal serta memberikan masukan untuk RUU Pemasyarakatan.
“Dalam Rancangan Undang-Undang (RUU) Pemasyarakatan, Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan melakukan sosialisasi pasal perpasal dengan Masyarakat, kalangan akademisi, dan Mahasiswa sebelum disyahkannya RUU Pemasyarakatan,”katanya.
Diharapkan didalam RUU Pemasyarakatan, kata Iskandar, ada masukkan mengenai profesi kesejahteraan sosial bagi pembinaan warga binaan dan ini merupakan langkah awal dalam terbukanya pintu koordinasi antar Instansi/Lembaga Pemerintah dengan Masyarakat khususnya dengan Mahasiswa.
Selanjutnya harap Kalapas, RUU Pemasyarakatan merupakan bentuk upaya dalam meningkatkan Pemasyarakatan yang semakin PASTI ( Profesional, Akuntabel, Sinergi, Transparan, Inovatif ), RUU Pemasyarakatan ini, harus adanya dukungan dan masukan dari masyarakat kepada Pemerintah khususnya DPR.
“Sosialisasi ini akan merupakan dukungan dari kalangan masyarakat dan pada akhirnya masukan bagi pemerintah dan DPR dalam memgesyahkan RUU Pemasyarakatan,” tutupnya.(nand)
