LHOKSUKON, kabarsebelas.com — Para petani di Kecamatan Matangkuli, Kabupaten Aceh Utara mengeluh soal kelangkaan pupuk subsidi. Padahal mereka saat ini sangat membutuhkan pupuk untuk menyuburkan tanaman padi.
Muhammad Azhar, salah satu tokoh petani di Kecamatan Matangkuli yang juga warga Gampong Geulumpang Tujoh kepada wartawan mengatakan, kelangkaan pupuk subsidi tersebut terjadi sejak dua pekan terakhir.
“Kenapa kami katakan langka, di mana-mana kami cari pupuk subsidi tidak ada. Padahal kami sangat membutuhkan saat ini untuk menyuburkan tanaman padi,” kata Muhammad Azhar, Senin (7/10/2019).
Untuk menyuburkan tanaman padi, ia dan beberapa petani lainnya terpaksa harus menggunakan pupuk non subsidi agar tanaman padi mereka tetap terawat.
“Untuk itu, saya berharap kepada pemerintah khususnya, kepada pihak-pihak yang berwenang dalam hal ini agar benar-benar serius untuk menyediakan stok pupuk subsidi yang cukup untuk masyarakat dan melakukan pengawasan agar dapat tersalurkan tepat sasaran,” ujarnya lagi. (Zulmalik)
