Lampung Utara, kabarsebelas.com – Ratusan masyarakat dari delapan dusun di Desa Wonomarto Kecamatan Kotabumi Utara Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Selasa (15/10/2019) mengikuti kirab gunungan dalam rangka pembukaan Festival Wonomarto (FWM) 2019.
Filosofi dalam acara kirab gunungan ini merupakan simbol dari hasil bumi yang menjadi potensi warga desa setempat, adapun seluruh peserta kirab gunungan melakukan longmarch berjalan kaki sejauh satu kilometer, dimulai dari balai dusun menuju lokasi Wisata II Desa Wonomarto, yang dijadikan sebagai pusat kegiatan Festival Wonomarto 2019.
Pantauan media ini, nampak para peserta kirab dari Dusun Sribangun, Wonoasri, Wonokitri I, Wonokitri II, Telagasari, Tegalsari, Karangsari, dan Wonomarto melakukan berbagai atraksi dan menggunakan kostum kedaerahan, sehingga menambah semarak dan wujud adanya kemajemukan adat budaya yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Desa Wonomarto.
Staf Kementerian Desa RI, Aries Mufti, mengakui acara kirab yang digelar di Desa Wonomarto merupakan hasil karya seni budaya yang sangat luar biasa.
“Ini adalah Festival yang pertama kali dilaksanakan kedepannya diharapkan agar kegiatan serupa dapat kembali dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan desa-desa lainnya dengan hasil buminya,” kata Aries dalam sambutnya.
Menurut Aries sekaligus menjabat Ketua Yayasan Gerakan Desa Emas Indonesia, dalam kegiatan tersebut yang terpenting adalah terciptanya kebersamaan gotong royong yang ditunjukkan masyarakat Desa Wonomarto dalam FWM 2019.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Koperasi, UMKM, dan Perindustrian, Kabupaten Lampung Utara, Dina Prawitarini, mengatakan, digelarnya kegiatan ini maka dapat mengangkat citra positif Desa Wonomarto dan mengangkat potensi Kabupaten Lampung Utara secara nasional.
