Tulang Bawang, Kabarsebelas.com. Bupati Tulang Bawang Hj. Winarti SE MH, kembali menerima penghargaan dari Kementerian Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) RI untuk Kabupaten Tulangbawang, yang diserahkan langsung oleh Dirjen HAM Kemenkumham Mualimin Abdi di Gedung Merdeka, Jalan Asia Afrika, Braga, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Selasa (10/12/2019).
Penghargaan tersebut diberikan kepada Kabupaten Tulangbawang atas usahanya dalam penghormatan, pemenuhan, perlindungan dan pemajuan Hak Asasi Manusia.
Dengan diperolehnya kembali penghargaan tersebut semakin menegaskan bahwa Kabupaten Tulangbawang merupakan Kabupaten yang Peduli akan Hak Asasi Manusia, penghargaan ini diberikan bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan Peringatan Hari Hak Asasi Manusia Sedunia ke-71 Tahun 2019.
Melalui Bagian Hukum dan Perundang-undangan Setdakab Tulangbawang, hal-hal mengenai indikator pemenuhan Hak Asasi Manusia terus ditingkatkan dan dikoordinasikan dengan OPD terkait termasuk Kementerian Hukum dan HAM Kantor Wilayah Lampung.
Adapun kriteria kategori penilaian terdiri dari 2 macam yaitu Kabupaten/Kota Cukup Peduli HAM dan Kabupaten Kota Peduli HAM. Pada Tahun 2019 Pemerintah Provinsi Lampung terdapat 3 Kabupaten/Kota yang mendapatkan penghargaan Kabupaten/Kota Peduli HAM yaitu, Kabupaten Tulangbawang, Kabupaten Lampung Utara dan Kota Metro.
Bupati Tulangbawang Hj. Winarti SE MH, mengucapkan terimakasih atas penghargaan yang diberikan, berkat upaya dan keberhasilan kabupaten Tulangbawang dalam pemenuhan dan pelayanan publik, dimana merupakan bagian dari hak-hak dasar warga dan masyarakat.
“Semoga dengan diberikannya penghargaan ini dapat kian memotivasi, dan mendorong pemenuhan hak-hak dasar masyarakat, terutama pemenuhan hak dasar di bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, hak-hak perempuan dan anak, hak atas pekerjaan, perumahan yang layak, dan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan,” tegas Bunda Winarti sapaan akrab Bupati Tulang Bawang ini (Andi irawan)
