Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pertahun 2018 mencatat tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Kabupaten Bekasi menempati posisi ke lima di Jawa Barat yakni mencapai 9,69%.
Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten Bekasi, Uju menyebut kalau migrasi atau perpindahan penduduk dengan tujuan untuk menetap dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain melewati batas administratif yang menjadi penyebabnya.
“Pengangguran berdatangan dari luar Bekasi karena migrasi,” katanya di Cibitung, Senin (16/12/2019). Sementara jumlah penduduk kabupaten Bekasi saat ini mencapai sekira 3,7 juta jiwa.
Menurut Sekda Uju, pertumbuhan penduduk di Kabupaten Bekasi yang mencapai 4% juga karena migrasi. Kemudian, lanjutnya, Kabupaten Bekasi memiliki kawasan industri terbesar se Asia Tenggara.
Belum lagi faktor nilai upah minimum akan menjadi yang tertinggi ketiga di Indonesia menembus Rp 4,59 juta mulai awal 2020. Sehingga, kata Sekda Uju, faktor itulah yang menjadi beban dan tantangan Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Bekasi.
Guna menyelesaikan pengangguran yang hari ini sudah mencapai 150 ribu lebih, Pemkab Bekasi sudah mempunyai Peraturan Bupati (Perbup) tentang tenaga kerja local. “Kami sudah memiliki Perbup tentang tenaga kerja lokal,” kata Sekda Uju. (red)
