Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS Daerah (KPAD) Kabupaten Bekasi meminta agar calon pengantin melakukan tes HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) terlebih dahulu sebelum menikah. Karena di 2019 KPAD Kabupaten Bekasi mencatat 105 orang mengidap HIV.
Ketua KPAD Kabupaten Bekasi, Ade Bawono mengatakan, imbauan itu menyusul temuan sebanyak 20 balita mengidap HIV karena tertular dari kedua orangtuanya, terutama sang ibu. Virus mematikan yang tertular ke balita itu terjadi semenjak lahir.
“Meskipun ibunya positif HIV, bayi dilahirkannya bisa tidak terkena HIV jika dilakukan antisipasi dengan baik. Oleh karenanya perlu deteksi dini, kenali diri. Jangan malu untuk mengecek HIV agar bisa dilakukan pengobatan sehingga bayinya tidak ikut terpapar HIV,” ujarnya, Rabu (18/12/2019).
Ia engatakan kalau pihaknya sudah menjalin komunikasi dengan Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia untuk mensosialisasikan bimbingan pra nikah supaya penyebaran HIV/AIDS di Kabupaten Bekasi.
“Kami sudah bekerja sama dengan kementerian agama untuk memberikan bimbingan pra nikah terhadap pasangan pengantin dan memberikan sosialisasi mengenai HIV/AIDS,” kata Ade Bawono.
Selama 2019 saja, kata dia, KPAD Kabupaten Bekasi menemukan 105 kasus HIV/AIDS. Mirisnya, lanjut dia, paling banyak di alami ibu rumah tangga lantaran faktor suami yang sering bermain cinta dengan wanita nakal.
Guna mengantisipasi semakin melebarnya kasus serupa, KPAD HIV bersama Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bekasi gencar melakukan penyuluhan terutama kepada ibu-ibu yang tengah mengandung. (red)
