Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Ketua Komisi X DPR RI, Syaiful Huda meminta Pemkab Bekasi melibatkan kaum millenial untuk mengelola sektor pariwisata. Tujuannya, kata dia, supaya persoalan pengangguran tidak semakin merajalela di daerah berjuluk ‘Kota Patriot’.
Politisi Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) ini pun berharap agar Pemkab Bekasi meniru Pemkab Banyuwangi yang dalam waktu singkat mampu menaikan pertumbuhan ekonominya sehingga menjadi pendapatan asli daerah (PAD).
Dengan catatan, kata Huda, para pimpinan eksekutif maupun legislatif memberikan kesempatan kepada kaum millenial untuk menjadi tulang punggung mengelola setor pariwisata yang ada di Kabupaten Bekasi, Jumat (27/12/2019).
“Anak muda di Banyuwangi tidak ada pengangguran disana, karena terserap semuanya oleh program dan ikhtiar dari seluruh stakeholder di Kabupaten Banyuwangi,” katanya saat Reses DPR RI Masa Sidang I 2019-2020 di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam (YAPIM) Manba’ul Hikmah, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat.
Pasalnya, kata dia, Pemkab Bekasi sendiri belum pernah mencoba kaum millenial untuk terjun langsung mengelola sektor pariwisata. Maka dari itu, lanjutnya, sudah waktunya kaum millennial tampil di Kaabupaten Bekasi.
“Kita berharap startup-startup muda itu bisa kita kembangkan (mengelola sektor pariwisata) di Kabupaten Bekasi ini,” pungkas Huda.
Perlu diketahui, Komisi X DPR RI 2019-2024 itu bermitra dengan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayan, Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, serta Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga. (vzay)
