Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – DPD PDI Perjuangan Jawa Barat memberikan bantuan makanan dan minuman ke sejumlah wilayah yang terdampak banjir di Kabupaten Karawang, Sabtu (5/1/2020) siang.
Kedatangan rombongan DPD PDI Perjuangan Jabar yang membawa bantuan untuk korban banjir ini diterima langsung oleh Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Karawang, Taufik Ismail beserta punggawanya.
Sekretaris DPD PDI Perjuangan, Ketut Sustiawan menjelaskan bahwa sesuai arahan partai menginstruksikan seluruh kader banteng harus membantu korban banjir.
Hal ini, kata dia, merupakan aksi kemanusiaan yang dijalankan, ini membuktikan bahwa partai besutan Megawati Soekarno Putri ini dekat dengan rakyat.
“Partai memberikan instruksi secara detail, bagaimana seluruh masakan dipersiapkan dengan baik dan bersih. Seluruh jajaran PDI Perjuangan juga diminta turun ke bawah untuk membantu rakyat tanpa pandang bulu pilihan politiknya,” ujar Ketut.
Ditempat yang sama, Bendaha DPD PDI Perjuangan Jawa Barat Ineu Purwadewi mengetakan kader banteng ini turun ke lokasi bencana dengan membawa berbagai bantuan untuk korban banjir.
Selain sembako, kata dia yang juga Wakil Ketua DPRD Jawa Barat, ada juga makanan untuk balita dan kebutuhan khusus bagi perempuan.
“Ini juga perintah Ketua Umum.Seringkali kalau kejadian banjir kita melupakan kebutuhan khusus perempuan, melupakan makanan bagi anak-anak balita kita. Itu yang dilakukan kader-kader PDI Perjuangan,” tandas Ineu. (vzay)
