Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Karawang, Ahmad Zamakshyari alias Kang Jimmy meninjau langsung korban banjir di Perumahan Pratama Permai, Desa Tegalwaru Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan, Jumat (10/01/20).
Ketua DPC PKB Karawang ini juga memastikan warga yang terkena banjir dalam kondisi aman dan tidak kekurangan makanan. Bahkan, ia tak segan langsung turun menerobos air setinggi kurang lebih satu meter dan berjalan mengelilingi perumahan itu.
“Saya kesini langsung melihat dan memastikan warga terkena musibah banjir dalam keadaan aman dan tak kukurangan makanan,” ujarnya Kang Jimmy kepada awak media yang berada di lokasi banjir.
Menurut dia, persoalan musibah banjir di awal tahun 2020 kali ini karena faktor meluapnya beberapa sungai yang mengelilingi Kabupaten Karawang.
“Persoalan banjir Karawang itu semuanya disebabkan oleh meluapnya sungai. Di Telukjambe meluapnya sungai Cibeet, disini (Cilamaya Wetan) meluapnya sungai Cilamaya,” ujar Kang Jimmy.
Persoalan banjir, kata dia, butuh sinergitas antara Pemkab Karawang, Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS), dan Pemprov Jawa Barat. Bahkan, dirinya pun mengaku sudah menyampaikan persoalan musibah banjir itu ke Gubernur Ridwan Kamil.
“Penyelesaian banjir Karawang butuh sinergitas antara Pemkab Karawang, BBWS dan Pemprov Jabar, tentunya leadernya adalah Gubernur, karena yang mempunyai kewenangan melakukan komunikasi dengan BBWS adalah Gubernur. Karena melihat kondisi sungai saat ini banyak yang dangkal maka sangat penting melakukan pembersihan sampah dan normalisasi sungai,” kata Kang Jimmy.
Ia pun berencana akan langsung berkomunikasi dengan Gubernur Ridwan Kamil dan mengusulkan untuk memanggil intansi terkait serta Bupati Karawang, Subang, serta Purwakarta supaya mencari titik temu solusi persoalan banjir itu.
“Rill solusinya besok saya akan mengusulkan kepada kang emil untuk memanggil BBWS, PJT dan Bupati Karawang, Subang, Purwakarta yang teraliri sungai penyebab banjir, sehingga akan menemukan titik temu yang sama bagaimana caranya mencari solusi mengatasi banjir,” tutur Kang Jimmy. (vzay)
