Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Meskipun berbagai pabrik menjamur di Kabupaten Bekasi, namun tidak menjamin wilayah yang berpenghuni sekitar 3,7 juta penduduk bisa merasakan bekerja.
Ironisnya, berdasarkan data tahun 2019 yang dimiliki Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat kalau Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) di Kabupaten Bekasi mencapai 8,94 persen.
“TPT Kabupaten Bekasi tahun 2019 itu sebanyak 8,94 persen,” ujar Fungsional Statistisi BPS Kabupaten Bekasi, Fitria Nur Diana saat ditemui di kantornya, Rabu (22/1/2020) siang.
Kendati demikian, kata Fitri, jumlah tersebut sedikit mengalami penurunan 0,75 persen dibanding tahun 2018 yang versi BPS itu ada sekitar 9,69 TPT di Kabupaten Bekasi.

Sebelumnya pada (Senin/16/12/2019), Sekda Uju menyebut kalau perpindahan penduduk dengan tujuan untuk menetap dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain melewati batas administratif itu penyebab meningkatnya pengangguran.
“Pengangguran berdatangan dari luar Bekasi karena migrasi,” katanya di Cibitung, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. (vzay)
