Bandung, Kabarsebelas.com – Pelabuhan Patimban yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Subang, diharapkan mendongkrak roda perekonomian masyarakat dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Provinsi Jawa Barat.
Terlebih, tata ruang wilayah Provinsi Jawa Barat pun sudah mengakomodir kawasan segitiga rebana dan ditopang dengan akses kereta serta jalan tol yang sudah dirancang para stakeholder.
“Mudah-mudahan proses ekspor dan Impor di pelabuhan patimban ini dapat meningkatkan perekonomian dan Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Provinsi Jawa Barat,” kata anggota Komisi IV DPRD Jawa Barat, Hasbullah Rahmad beberapa waktu.
Dirinya juga sedang mengupayakan agar Pemprov Jawa Barat memproyeksikan Pelabuhan Patimban ini menjadi lokasi yang ramah lingkungan, karena terpisah dengan pelabuhan untuk suplai batubara.
“Nantinya ada pelabuhan curah basah dari pertamina untuk bahan bakar, dan ada pelabuhan parkir, serta peti kemas,” ujar Hasbullah.
Setelah beroperasinya Pelabuhan Patimban, ia berharap bisa menjadi percepatan pertumbuhan tata ruang Provinsi Jawa Barat mengembangkan kawasan Industri 2 di wilayah segitiga rebana.
“Semula (masyarakat) kesulitan diekspor sekarang akan lebih gampang karena pelabuhan ekspornya ada di Jawa Barat,” tegas Hasbullah.
Kemudian, ia mengatakan, Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) Jawa Barat harus mengambil peran penting melihat adanya perspektif bisnis dengan melibatkan masyarakat Kabupaten Subang khususnya.
Oleh karenanya, ia meminta agar BUMD Jawa Barat mulai intens berkomunikasi dengan pemerintah pusat untuk mengambil peran sektor bisnis yang bisa dilakukan di wilayah Pelabuhan Patimban. (red)
