Purwakarta, – Kabarsebelas.com – 1000 lubang biopori di buat untuk resepan air di puncak rangkaian peringatan hari sampah nasional 2020, di Bukit Panorama Indah, Purwakarta.
“Hari ini 1000 lubang biopori. Salah satu upaya kita dalam meminimalisir debit air yang berlebih di Bukit Panorama saat musim hujan, dan juga tabungan air saat musim kemarau nanti. Selain itu biopori ini berfungsi juga sebagai pengurai sampah organik sehingga sampah rumah tangga nantinya bisa terserap tanpa harus dibuang ke TPA,”Ujar Asep Supiandi, Minggu (23/2/2020)
Ia menjelaskan, dengan jumlah ribuan rumah yang ada di perumahan tersebut, nantinya akan memiliki lebih banyak lagi lubang untuk penyerapan air.
“Dengan jumlah total 2.265 rumah, nantinya akan ada 5000 lubang biopori, dan ini bisa menyerap sekitar 45000 liter air. Harapannya dari masyarakat, status perumahan bisa segera diambil alih menjadi aset pemkab, kemudian permasahalan banjir selama ini bisa segera teratasi,” Jelasnya.
Bupati Purwakarta Ambu Anne Ratna Mustika mengapresiasi kegiatan tersebut. Menurutnya kegiatan seperti ini bisa menjadi percontohan untuk warga masyarakat lainnya.
“Ini luar biasa, karena kegiatan ini bertepatan dengan Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional. Semuanya inisiatif dari warga Bukit Panorama dan ini harus dijadikan percontohan untuk perumahan lain yang ada di Purwakarta,”katanya
Ia mengatakan, jika wilayah lain di Purwakarta menerapkan program seperti ini, akan berdampak positif bagi lingkungan di Purwakarta.
“Saya sangat mengapresiasi kegiatan ini. Dan saya yakin ketika program ini diterapkan di perumahan, atau diwilayah lainnya, kedepannya akan membuat lingkungan purwakarta semakin terjaga,” Ucap Anne.
Selain itu warga Panorama Indah juga melakukan deklarasikan acara, kerukunan keluarga Panorama Bangkit. Deklarasi ini dibentuk bukan untuk sebuah organisasi semata. Melainkan untuk mempererat silaturahmi antar warga yang tinggal di Bukit Panorama.
“Deklarasi ini bukan sebuah organisasi, melainkan menyatukan tekad bahwa kita itu (warga Perumahan Bukit Panorama Indah) sebuah keluarga besar dalam hal penataan lingkungan, penanganan permasalahan lingkungan. Karena di Bukit Panorama itu terdiri dari beberapa wilayah kelurahan, agar nantinya bisa lebih efektif,”pungkasnya.(red)
