Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Sebanyak 90 jiwa warga Tanjungpura, Kecamatan Karawang Barat, yang menjadi korban banjir mengungsi di Kantor DPC PDI Perjuangan Karawang.
“Ada 90 orang mengungsi sementara di kantor kami,” kata Ketua PDI Perjuangan Karawang, Taufik Ismail, Selasa (25/2/2020) siang.
Kantor DPC PDI Perjuangan Karawang itu memang sengaja dijadikan lokasi pengungsian. Sebab, warga korban banjir itu sangat membutuhkan tempat yang memadai.
“Kantor kami ini bukan hanya untuk kepentingan partai, tapi juga kami sediakan untuk keperluan masyarakat,” ujat Pipik.
Ia pun mempersilahkan jika ada warga sekitar Kabupaten Karawang yang memang menjadi korban banjir untuk mengungsi di kantornya.
“Kami sangat mempersilahkan warga Kabupaten Karawang jika ingin mengungsi di kantor kami yang sederhana ini,” tandas Pipik. (vzay)
