Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Karawang diminta melakukan upaya serius untuk menangkal penyebaran virus corona.
Ketua Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) Kabupaten Karawang, Fadludin Damanhuri meminta Pemkab Karawang segera mengeluarkan instruksi kepada beberapa pihak terkait untuk menutup sementara sejumlah area publik.
“Seperti mall, rumah makan, tempat hiburan dan tempat rekreasi di sekitar Kabupaten Karawang,” kata Fadludin kepada awak media di Karawang, Sabtu (14/3/2020) malam.
Agar virus corona tidak menjalar ke masyarakat, dirinya menyarankan Pemkab Karawang mengupayakan pencegahan dengan cara melakukan penyemprotan disinsfektan, serta menyediakan tempat dan obat untuk cuci tangan di sejumlah titik area publik.
“Untuk sementara waktu, pemerintah baik eksekutif dan legislatif sebaiknya tidak melakukan kunjungan ke luar daerah dulu,” ujar Fadludin.
Ia pun mengimbau kepada manajemen perusahaan Kabupaten Karawang, yang memiliki Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) untuk segera melakukan pemeriksaan khusus.
Terutama, kata dia, pemeriksaan kesehatan itu dilakukan terhadap TKA dan para pekerja lainnya yang memiliki riwayat kunjungan tugas ke luar negeri dalam rentan waktu satu bulan terakhir.
“Satgas tanggap corona di Kabupaten Karawang harus dioptimalkan,” tandas Fadludin. (red)
