Bekasi, Kabarsebelas.com – Panitia pemilihan tetap ngotot menggelar pemilihan wakil bupati Bekasi lewat proses rapat Paripurna DPRD Kabupaten Bekasi, Rabu (18/3/2020), meskipun pemilihan tersebut masih menuai polemik bahkan dinilai cacat hukum atau inkonstitusional.
Kemudian, panitia juga belum mendapat izin untuk melakukan pemilihan dari Direktorat Jenderal Otonomi Daerah Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) dan Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jawa Barat. Direktur Jenderal Otonomi Daerah Kemendagri Akmal Malik menyebut pihaknya belum mendapatkan pemberitahuan terkait pemilihan wakil bupati Bekasi. Dia menegaskan, proses pemilihan harus mengacu pada Undang-Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2016.
“Saya belum tahu kabar soal pemilihan itu. Lebih jelasnya coba dikomunikasikan dengan provinsi,” katanya.
Begitupun juga dengan Bupati Kabupaten Bekasi Eka Supria Atmaja belum menyerahkan surat rekomendasi nama calon dari partai koalisi sesuai amanah Undang-Undang Nomor 10 Tahun 2016 pasal 176 ayat 2, tentang partai politik atau gabungan partai politik pengusung mengusulkan dua orang calon wakil gubernur, wakil bupati, dan wakil wali kota kepada DPRD melalui gubernur, bupati, atau wali kota untuk dipilih dalam rapat paripurna.
Sementara empat partai koalisi pemenang Pilkada Kabupaten Bekasi 2017 yakni Partai Golkar, PAN, Hanura, NasDem, mengantongi empat nama berbeda yang telah direkomendasikan masing-masing Dewan Pimpinan Pusat (DPP) partai dan belum dikerucutkan menjadi dua nama karena masih menunggu hasil konsolidasi antarpartai tersebut.(red)
