Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Wakil Bupati Karawang, H Ahmad Zamaksyari S.Ag., meminta maaf kepada masyarakat yang hendak menyampaikan keluhan ataupun aspirasi ke rumah dinas, untuk sementara waktu tidak bisa. Hal ini terkait upaya antisipasi penyebaran virus corona di Kabupaten Karawang. Minggu (22/3/2020).
Wabup menuturkan, sebelumnya ia rutin menerima masyarakat setiap hari Senin di rumah dinasnya. Namun, karena dampak penyebaran coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) yang begitu masif, untuk sementara waktu kegiatan penerimaan masyarakat di hari Senin ditiadakan.
“Sampai 14 hari ke depan. Kita harus patuh dengan imbauan dari pemerintah pusat. Saya meminta maaf, ini demi kepentingan semuanya,” ujar kang Jimmy, sapaan akrab Wabup Karawang.
Wabup pun mengajak masyarakat agar sadar bahwa penyebaran virus corona cepat, namun juga dapat diantisipasi dengan social distancing atau berjaga jarak. Untuk itu, kata Wabup, langkah yang dilakukan adalah tidak mengadakan acara atau kegiatan yang sifatnya mengumpulkan massa.
“Mari kita sama-sama bahu membahu membawa Indonesia, khususnya Karawang tersenyum kembali,” katanya.(red)
