Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – DPC PDI Perjuangan Karawang, menyemprotkan cairan disinfektan ke pemukiman yang ada di Kecamatan Klari, Karawang Barat, dan Cilebar. Tujuannya, untuk mencegah wabah virus korona.
“Hari ini kami bergerak melakukan penyemprotan disinfektan di Klari, Karawang Barat, dan Cilebar,” ujar Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Karawang, Pipik Taufik Ismail, Sabtu (28/3/2020) siang.
Dia mengatakan, kebaikan bukanlah soal hutang piutang. Sebab, masyarakat Karawang sangat membutuhkan aksi nyata untuk memerangi virus korona.
“Anda berhak menentukan sikap dan bebas berdemokrasi, tapi ijinkan kami hadir sebagai partai politik di tengah wabah bencana kemanusiaan,” kata Pipik.
Ia menegaskan, aksi sosial yang dilakukan PDI Perjuangan ini semata-mata demi kemaslahatan warga Karawamg, agar terhindar dari wabah virus korona.
“Bergerak saja, berbuat saja, apa yang bisa kita perbuat. Karena hal ini merupakan tanggungjawab kita bersama,” tegas Pipik. (vzay)
