Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Kabar duka menyelimuti keluarga besar PT Pupuk Kujang, Direktur Utama PT. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek Bambang Eka Cahyana menghembuskan napas terakhir pada hari ini Jumat 3 April 2020. Pria kelahiran Bantul ini, menginggal di usianya yang menginjak 52 tahun.
Meninggalnya Dirut PT. Pupuk Kujang di benarkan Sekretaris Perusahaan PT Pupuk Kujang Ade Cahya Kurniawan walaupun dirinya sempat tidak percaya awalnya.
“walaupun awalnya membuat saya tidak percaya, namun benar kabar duka tersebut, beliau sakit jantung dan memiliki asam lambung yang naik,” kata Ade, Jumat (3/4/2020)
Bambang lahir di Bantul, DI Yogyakarta pada 15 Mei 1967. Lulusan UGM tersebut mulai menjabat sebagai Direktur Utama PT Pupuk Kujang yang ke-9 sejak Oktober 2019, dimana sebelumnya ditugaskan sebagai sebagai Dirut Pelindo 1 dan staff kementerian BUMN Republik Indonesia.
Selama menjabat kurang lebih 5 bulan lamanya di PT Pupuk Kujang, banyak sekali yang yang beliau tanamkan untuk karyawan dan perusahaan.
“Semangat dan optimisme yang dia tularkan ke karyawan untuk mendukung kemajuan Pupuk Kujang sangat terasa,”terang Ade.
Di akhir perjalanannya beberapa minggu sebelum wafat, tepatnya tanggal 7 Maret 2020, atas perhatian yang tinggi beliau terhadap ketahanan pangan nasional, beliau membuat sebuah program
“Petani Kujang Juara, Solusi Andal AgroIndustri yang dimana program ini mengedepankan pendampingan terhadap petani selain memberikan produk unggulan juga dapat menghasilkan hasil tani yang unggul dan bersaing,”pungkasnya.(red)
