Purwakarta, Kabarsebelas.com – Ditengah masa pendemi Covid-19 ini, Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 di Kabupaten Purwakarta dilaksanakn secara online.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Purwakarta, DR.Purwanto mengatakan pelaksanaan PPDB pada tahun ini mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 44 Tahun 2019 dan Peraturan Bupati Purwakarta Nomor 154 Tahun 2020.
“PPDB dilaksanakan dengan prinsip transparan, objektif, non diskriminatif, berkeadilan dan akuntabel. Tujuan PPDB adalah perluasan akses pelayanan pendidikan dan pemerataan mutu pendidikan,” kata DR. Purwanto pada sosialisasi PPDB Online di Bale Sawala Yudhistira, Purwakarta, Selasa (2/6/2020).
Menurutnya, PPDB di Purwakarta tahun ini akan mengimplementasikan empat jalur. Yaitu jalur zonasi sebesar 60 persen. Jalur afirmasi 15 persen. Jalur perpindahan tugas orang tua/wali 5 persen. Serta, jalur prestasi 20 persen.
Untuk jalur prestasi dibagi dua. Yaitu, prestasi akumulasi nilai rapor. Serta, prestasi hasil perlombaan dan atau penghargaan di bidang akademik maupun non akademik sebesar 10 persen.
Adapun jalur zonasi sebanyak 17 zona yang ada di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Masing-masing, zona Purwakarta, Babakancikao, Bungursari, Campaka, Cibatu, Pasawahan, Pondoksalam, Wanayasa, Kiarapedes, Bojong, Darangdan, Plered, Tegalwaru, Maniis, Sukatani, Jatiluhur dan Sukasari.
Sementara, pelaksanaan PPDB secara berurutan dimulai dari jalur afirmasi terhitung 16 sampai 18 Juni 2020. Jalur perpindahan tugas orang tua/wali, mulai 19 hingga 23 Juni 2020.
Jalur prestasi mulai 24 hingga 26 Juni 2020. Terakhir, jalur zonasi mulai 29 Juni hingga 3 Juli 2020. Sedangkan, pengumuman penetapan peserta didik baru akan dibuka pada 6 juli 2020.
Menyinggung tentang siswa lulusan SD, Disdik Purwakarta menjamin semua lulusan SD/MI bisa tertampung di SMP sederajat pada PPDB tahun ini. Pasalnya, daya tampung sekolah menengah pertama itu surplus atau berlebih.
“Daya tampung sekolah lanjutan itu sudah lebih dari cukup. Bahkan, boleh dibilang surplus. Berdasarkan data yang ada, pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 jumlah siswa SD dan MI yang lulus sebanyak 17.224 anak. Sedangkan, daya tampung SMP/MTs mencapai 18.120 anak,” kata DR.Purwanto.
Adapun rinciannya, lulusan SD pada tahun kemarin, mencapai 16.010 pelajar. Lulusan MI sebanyak 1.214 pelajar. Sedangkan, jumlah daya tampung SMP dan MTs sebanyak 18.120 dengan rincian, SMP 13.984 pelajar dan MTs 4.136 pelajar.
“Dengan demikian masih ada kosong 896 orang lagi. Jadi, bisa dipastikan semua siswa lulusan SD dan MI di Kabupaten Purwakarta ini, akan tertampung di jenjang SMP dan MTs. Sehingga, tidak ada lagi alasan orang tua, untuk tak melanjutkan pendidikan anaknya ke SMP atau MTs,” demikian DR.Purwanto. (Dadi)
