Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Juru bicara tim gugus tugas percepatan penanganan Covid-19 Kabupaten Karawang, dr. Fitra Hergyana Sp.KK mengimbau kepada para ibu hamil untuk waspada dari virus corona, mengingat di Kabupaten Karawang sudah ada 1 ibu hamil yang terinfeksi virus corona.
Ia menuturkan, ibu hamil sebagai populasi yang berisiko dipercaya akan menjadi kelompok yang lebih rentan terinfeksi dengan tingkat morbiditas dan mortalitas yang lebih tinggi. “Meskipun sampai saat ini belum ada bukti laporan transmisi vertikal dari ibu ke janin, kita akan tetap memantau perkembangan keilmuan dampak infeksi COVID-19 pada ibu hamil risiko transmisi vertikal kepada janin, dan penanganan yang evidence-based pada saat kehamilan, persalinan, masa nifas, dan menyusui,” ujarnya, Kamis (2/7/2020)
Adapun penanganan kasus positif Covid-19 pada ibu hamil di Kabupaten Karawang, dilakukan sesuai dengan rekomendasi dari Perkumpulan Obstetri dan Ginekologi Indonesia. Penanganan ibu hamil sedikit berbeda dengan pasien lain pada umumnya. Untuk penanganan pasien hamil, Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Karawang bekerjasama dengan Ikatan Dokter Indonesia untuk mempersiapkan para dokter spesialis.
Dokter spesialis kandungan, spesialis paru, spesialis jantung, spesialis kulit dan kelamin serta spesialis lainnya sudah disiapkan merujuk pada kebutuhan pasien. “Tak hanya itu, kebutuhan vitamin, gizi dan obat-obatan juga diberikan dengan baik kepada pasien,” katanya.
Sampai saat ini, pengetahuan tentang infeksi COVID-19 dalam hubungannya dengan kehamilan dan janin masih terbatas dan belum ada rekomendasi spesifik untuk penanganan ibu hamil dengan COVID-19. Berdasarkan data yang terbatas tersebut dan beberapa contoh kasus pada penanganan Coronavirus sebelumnya (SARS-CoV dan MERS-CoV) dan beberapa kasus COVID-19, dipercaya bahwa ibu hamil memiliki risiko lebih tinggi untuk terjadinya penyakit berat, morbiditas dan mortalitas dibandingkan dengan populasi umum.
Oleh karena itu, Gugus Tugas menghimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat terutama kepada para ibu hamil, bersalin dan nifas agar tetap waspada dan disiplin dalam menerapkan pola hidup bersih sehat, menjalankan protokol kesehatan, dan menghindari kerumunan.
