Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Jawa Barat (Jabar) Ikhsanudin dari fraksi Gerindra meminta kepada PT. Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE-ONWJ) agar jangan main main soal janjinya yang akan memberikan kompensasi masyarakat terdampak tumpahan minyak pada Juli 2019 lalu di pesisir pantai Karawang.
Disampaikan Ikhsanudin dirinya mendapatkan informasi jika pembayaran kompensasi oleh PHE-ONWJ kepada masyarakat pesisir Karawang yang terdampak kebocoran minyak belum tuntas.
“PT Pertamina jangan main – main, segera penuhi janji kompensasi kepada wong cilik,” tegas Ikhsanudin, Kamis (23/7/2020).
Kemudian ia mendesak kepada PHE-ONWJ agar segera menuaikan kewajibannya sampai tuntas. Apalagi saat ini masyarakat dihadapkan dengan kondisi ekonomi yang sangat sulit di masa pandemi Covid-19. Belum lagi beberapa waktu lalu di pantai Karawang terjadi banjir rob yang menggenangi rumah masyarakat di pesisir Karawang Utara.
“Suasana ekonomi saat ini tidak menentu karena Covid-19, jangan tambahi beban kami,” tegas putra asal Karawang Utara tersebut.
Bahkan kata ia, jika Pertamina tidak segera menunaikan kewajibannya dia akan menggerakan masa untuk mengepung kantor – kantor Pertamina yang berada di Kabupaten Karawang.
“Sebagai anggota DPRD Provinsi Jawa Barat saya berpesan, apabila PT Pertamina ingkar janji atas komitmen pemberian kompensasi kepada yang berhak maka kami akan menuntut dan menggerakkan rakyat untuk mengepung kantor-kantor kalian,” pesannya.(red)
