Karawang, Kabarsebelas.com – Universitas Negri Singaperbangsa Karawang (Unsika) terus meroket mengukir prestasi semenjak kampus kebanggan masyarakat Karawang menjadi kampus negri satu-satunya di Kabupaten Karawang.
Karawang negri ini sebagai tonggak peningkatan sumber daya manusia dalam pendidikan baik untuk Karawang dan daerah diluar Karawang di Indonesia.
Proses panjang kampus Unsika menjadi Universitas negri kebanggaan masyarakat Karawang, sejatinya menjadi catatan semua pihak.

Pasalnya, Unsika adalah kampus negri yang baru namun, telah mensejajarkan prestasinya dengan kampus-kampus negri yang ada di Nasional.
Unsika hari ini masuk rangking ke 61 kampus negri Nasional di Indonesia, peringkat ke 2 program Kegiatan Bisnis Manajemen Mahasiswa Indonesia (KBMI) Kemendikbud.
Torehan prestasi kampus Unsika baik di bidang akademik maupun kemahasiswaan terlihat dari para lulusan alumni Unsika yang tersebar menjadi pejabat di Karawang maupun di Nasional dan juga mampu menjalin kerjasama dengan ratusan dunia Industri sehingga menyiapkan ruang kerja bagi para lulusannya.
Mulyana Kepala Sekolah SMK Taruna Karya Mandiri dan Pengurus Forum Komunikasi Kepala Sekolah SMK Swasta FKKSMKS, menuturkan bahwa Unsika sudah menjadi Kampus Negeri yang diburu lulusan SMA/SMK sederajat menjadi pilihan pertama oleh lulusan Sekolah Karawang maupun di luar Karawang di Indonesia.
Hal ini terbukti dengan puluhan ribu lulusan yang mendaftar ke Unsika baik dari jalur SNMPTN, SBMPTN dan SMMPTN atau yang lebih dikenal Ujian Mandiri.
“Sudah sewajarnya ketika Unsika menerapkan Uang pangkal untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang nantinya bisa dinikmati oleh Mahasiswa Unsika maupun masyarakat Karawang dan Nasional dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia.
