Purwakarta, Kabarsebelas.com – Guna mencegah dan memutus mata rantai COVID-19, Kapolsek Cibatu, Polres Purwakarta, AKP Ali Murtadho mengajak para personelnya untuk berolahraga pagi.
“Kami lakukan olahraga pagi agar badan tetap segar dan organ tubuh berfungsi dengan baik sehingga bisa meningkatkan imun tubuh,” ucapnya, Pada Sabtu (7/11/2020).
Dikatakannya, dengan meningkatnya imun tubuh maka stamina dan kekebalan tubuh menjadi kuat sehingga bisa melawan apabila ada virus yang hendak masuk ke tubuh.
Olahraga pagi kali ini dilakukan dengan jalan santai sejauh lebih kurang satu kilometer dengan mengelilingi perkampungan di wilayah Kecamatan Cibatu, Kabupaten Purwakarta.
“Dengan berolahraga tubuh akan menjadi sehat sehingga di dalam tubuh yang sehat maka terdapat jiwa yang kuat,” ujarnya.
AKP Ali juga mengatakan kalau tubuh dan jiwa sehat tentu dalam bekerja anggota menjadi semangat dalam melaksanakan tugas Kamtibmas di wilayah hukum mereka masing-masing.
Olahraga pagi yang langsung dipimpin oleh Kapolsek Cibatu itu dilakukan karena mengingat begitu pentingnya berolahraga bagi kesehatan apalagi saat pandemi COVID-19.
“Saya ingatkan, olahraga itu anggap sebagai resfresing untuk menghilangkan kepenatan dan kejenuhan, maka manfaatkan dengan baik saat kita berolahraga,” ujar Ali.
Tak hanya berolahraga, sambung dia, kegiata ini juga sekaligus patroli wilayah guna mengantisipasi gangguan kamtibmas serta tindak kriminalitas di tempat pemukiman warga di wilayah hukum Polsek Cibatu.
“Patroli kami ini sebagai atensi bapak Kapolres Purwakarta dalam memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada masyarakat. Serta kami juga memberikan imbauan kepada masyarakat agar tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 seperti menggunakan masker, menjaga jarak, dan mencuci tangan dengan sabun di air mengalir,” pungkasnya.(rls)
