Bandung, Kabarsebelas.com – Ketua Komisi II DPRD Jawa Barat Rahmat Hidayat Djati mendukung inisiatif Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jawa Barat (Jabar), meluncurkan terobosan program petani milenial untuk mendukung revolusi 4.0 dibidang pertanian.
Pria yang akrab disapa Kang Rahmat Toleng ini mengajak ribuan pemuda di Jawa Barat untuk andil dalam program ini.
“Alam pertanian di Jabar ini adalah anugrah yang luar biasa, untuknya ayo manfaatkan dan gabung karena saat ini dicari 5000 anak muda Jawa Barat yang mau Bela Negara dengan menjadi petani 4.0.” kata Rahmat Rabu, 27 Januari 2021.
Bahkan tuturnya Rahmat yang juga ketua Panca Marga (PPM) Jawa Barat, Pemprov Jabar akan memberikan pinjaman lahan serta modal, juga menjamin akan membeli hasil produksi pertanian ini.
“Tanah subur masing-masing dipinjamkan 2000 m2 dari Pemprov. Modal dari bank BJB dan hasil akan dibeli Agro Jabar,” paparnya.
Sementara itu untuk pendaftaran program ini ini akan mulai dibuka pada bulan Februari 2021 mendatang.
Menurut Politisi PKB itu untuk bisa menjadi petani milenial ini anak muda di Jawa barat harus ikut mematuhi persyaratan, yaitu tinggal di desa.
“Salah satu syaratnya menjadi petani siap live in di desa.”Paparnya.
Selanjutnya Kang Rahmat mengaku pihaknya juga tengah mendorong rekrutmen petani milenial pertahunya ini minimal 1 juta petani milenial, begitupun lahan tidur, di Jabar ini banyak lahan tidur hanya belum terkelola secara maksimal.
“Minat menjadi petani, peternak, pembudidaya ini harus kita terus dorong, dan di fasilitas yang mendidik dan mensejahterakan, demi terciptanya swasembada pangan, kalau masyarakat Jabar bisa swasembada pangan maka otomatis akan memperkuat ketahanan pangan nasional.”pungkasnya.(red)
